Bear in mind the following:
1) It's a BETA version, not the final patch
2) If you patch your existing copy of BF2 you won't be able to play on our server until our server has been patched, which could be a while, depending on how long EA take to release the final patch, which you would then have to install anyway. Having said that, follow this link to see how you can install the patch and easily roll back to v1.41.
3) It's 1.3Gb in size
4) It's probably not worth bothering with until the final patch is out and our server has been patched
I put this here in case anyone has a 'sandbox' machine that they'd like to install it on to try it out.
